STRETCHLOCK is a Chrome extension that blocks distracting websites until you complete a short stretch break. The extension is designed to work locally on your device.

Data handling

  • STRETCHLOCK does not collect, sell, share, or transmit personal data.
  • STRETCHLOCK does not use analytics, advertising SDKs, remote logging, or external tracking.
  • Your blocked-site list, settings, usage counters, stretch streaks, and temporary unlock timers are stored only in chrome.storage.local on your device.
  • STRETCHLOCK uses the Chrome History permission only to show local suggestions for frequently visited sites you may want to block. History results are read locally in the extension UI and are not stored, transmitted, sold, or shared.

Chrome Web Store User Data Policy and Limited Use

STRETCHLOCK's use and transfer of information received from Chrome APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Data accessed through Chrome APIs is used only to provide the extension's single purpose: helping you pause distracting websites with a short stretch break.

Permissions

  • storage: saves your settings, blocked sites, counters, streaks, and active unlock timers locally.
  • tabs: opens the details page, detects the active tab for time tracking, returns you to the original page after a stretch, and closes the stretch gate when you choose to skip.
  • alarms: runs a local minute-by-minute timer to update usage time and expire unlock windows.
  • webNavigation: detects top-level navigation so registered distracting sites can be redirected to the stretch gate.
  • history: reads recent local browsing history only to suggest frequently visited sites to block.
  • <all_urls> host access: allows STRETCHLOCK to check navigation against your own blocked-site list across websites.

Chrome Web Store User Data Policy と Limited Use

STRETCHLOCK は、Chrome API から取得した情報の使用と移転について、Limited Use 要件を含む Chrome Web Store User Data Policy に従います。Chrome API から取得したデータは、「短いストレッチ休憩によって気が散るサイトを一時停止する」という拡張機能の単一目的を提供するためにのみ使用されます。

権限

  • storage: 設定、ブロック対象サイト、カウンター、ストリーク、解放タイマーをローカル保存します。
  • tabs: 詳細ページの表示、利用時間計測のためのアクティブタブ検出、ストレッチ完了後の元ページ復帰、スキップ時のストレッチ画面タブ終了に使用します。
  • alarms: 利用時間の更新と解放期限切れの処理を、端末内の 1 分間隔タイマーで行います。
  • webNavigation: 登録済みの気が散るサイトへ移動したことを検知し、ストレッチ画面へリダイレクトするために使用します。
  • history: よく訪れるサイトをブロック候補として表示するため、最近の閲覧履歴をローカルで参照します。
  • <all_urls> host access: ユーザー自身のブロック対象リストと任意サイトの移動先を照合するために使用します。
